BLM Resources
Below is by no means an exhaustive list of areas to donate, petitions to sign, or things to read related to the Black Lives Matter movement, but it’s a start for anyone who may be searching for some new or additional resources. We stand in solidarity with those protesting police brutality across the US, and the world, and we are committed to further educating ourselves, being better listeners and supporting progress in whichever ways we can.
Black Lives Matter contains lots of valuable resources including petitions and toolkits. You can also donate directly on their website.
Join Campaign Zero’s campaign to end police violence. You can also track legislation, and find your representative to contact directly.

Three Things
Carly
- Watching: Professional chefs make their favorite version of grilled cheese (her favorite is the fishy grilled cheese with sardines and pickled peppers)
- Drinking: Campari and sodas, the summer-friendly alternative to negronis, with an orange garnish
- Listening: To the Wind of Change podcast that explores the rumor that the CIA wrote the Scorpions song Wind of Change as a tactic to expand the US’ power against the Soviet Union during the Cold War (watch Argo, based on a true story, for proof that the CIA has used art and culture as a guise before)
Dan
- Watching: The IGTV video on The Night Game’s Instagram about the magic of music, losing that magic, and regaining it once again
- Using: The extended 90 day free trial offered by Apple of Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro and trying new tools for inspiration
- Wearing: His brand new Entrepreneurship & Art t-shirt. Want one? Share what you’re creating with us here
George
- Listening: To a 1989 interview with R.E.M.’s Peter Buck where he talks about not dumbing down your work and creating the art you want to create
- Watching: The Slint documentary, Breadcrumb Trail, that he stumbled on by (happy) accident on YouTube
- Eating: Joey’s Hot Sauce, homemade, organic and delicious — which led to a larger discussion about the best hot sauces and Complex’s Hot Ones. Dan suggests you start with the Key and Peele or Nick Offerman episodes!
